Introduction

The Customer Review Add-on for Storefront 6.x and 7.x by Stokes Web Development is a full featured rating and review application. It allows your customers to rate your products from 1 to 5 stars and to leave reviews of the product. Other features include:

· Reviews are moderated and must be approved before being made live. This helps cut down on spam and inappropriate posts.

· The site administrator is sent an email when a user writes a review letting them know they need to approve it.

· The user is sent an email once the review is approved. This is another chance to get the user to your website.

· Customers who purchase from you are sent a reminder email 21 days after the purchase (the days can be customized). This email contains a list of all products purchased in that order and has links for them to review those products. This is a powerful feature that will drive users back to your website.

This control is used on the search results and category page and shows the rating of the product and number of reviews. If there are no reviews, nothing is shown.

This control is used at the top of the detail page near the main image. This control shows the rating of the product, has a fly out control that shows a break down of reviews for each star rating and has links that move the focus of the page to the review list section or put the page in "write review" mode. If there are no reviews a separate box is shown asking for owners of the product to be the first to write a review. The layout of this control is easily changed.

This control is the main component of the review add-on. It shows all the reviews for the product in a paging type format. This control also shows a break down of the reviews for each star rating, the percentage of users that would recommend the product to a friend, has a link to write a review and allows you to change the sort order of the review list. If there are no reviews nothing is shown. This control is highly customizable to match the look of your site.

This page allows the site owner to approve, edit and delete reviews. Reviews can be marked as "featured" allowing those reviews to be shown before other reviews. The administration page shows reviews for all products and defaults to showing reviews that are not yet approved making the daily task of approving reviews quick and easy. The control that drives this page is also placed in the product section of the merchant tools and only shows reviews for the particular product making it easy to find specific reviews if needed.
